“Overconfidence is as bad as no confidence.” –Michael McDonough
It sounds correct. However, how do you know that you are confident or not?
Most of us believe that the center of our universe is sun not earth. Is that correct? Maybe. At least the theory tell us don’t think we are the center.
We will always be happy if we can find a center outside of us when we do or think things because this way of thinking can help us to find our shortage and then transfer it to what we need. If we always think we are center, we’ll be often angry because we don’t satisfied with all over our environment.
Have you ever think that you are a part of other living things? You can think about that way: our bodies consist of cells; cells consist of molecules; and molecules consist of atoms. Is it possible that some living things consist of some of us? Don’t forget that Solar System consists of nine planets including our earth.
When you feel boring, feel free to open your way of thinking as wide as possible to think. It is interesting and a good way to use your time. I’m sure you can’t think to the end.
In my opinion, we should do what we think we should do but we should find a center outside of us. This is the only way to get independent happy life. In other word, helping others successfully is the happiest thing.

My goal

Recently, I’m thinking about Chinese culture and Chinese dance times and times. I do love all of them. How could I own them all in Canada?

I plan to set up a school in which people can learn Chinese culture and Chinese dance. The target of the school is giving people a chance to learn the pure Chinese culture and awesome Chinese dance with cheap fees.

I will be the school principal without salary and hire some professional teachers to teach.

The Chinese culture classes include history stories and sources of Chinese letters so that people will know how wonderful the Chinese culture is and how meaningful the Chinese letters are. It will accept both Chinese children and children with different nationalities.

The Chinese dance classes will include professional kids and teens classes. We also provide free for-fun class for adults.

I hope I can reach the goal quickly so that people can get benefits from it soon.

Do you like it?

Good opportunity

The competition will be held from August 22nd to 24th, 2008. It includes solo, duet and trio dances.
Is there any award?
It will provide three level awards for competitors, including $10,000 for Gold Award, $3,000 for Silver Award, and $1,000 for Bronze Award.
Who can enter the competition?
* Dance teachers and dancers from professional arts academies
* Dance troupes and dance instructors, dancers, and dance students from professional dance schools
Group of age
*Junior Division from 14 to 17

Tell the news to your friends who reach these criteria because this kind of international competition is a good opportunity for a Chinese dancer.

The best Chinese show is a classical Chinese dance performance presented by The Divine Performing Arts Troupe in New York. It is a global performance group. It owned about 650,000 audience in both Holiday Wonders and Chinese New Year Spectacular over 60 Cities Around the World from October,2007 to April, 2008.

My families and I watched the performance at the Queen Elizabeth Theater in 2007. It’s awesome. We did watch the performance this year because we have a new-born baby on March this year.

The performance represent the pure Chinese spirits through classical Chinese historic stories. It is hard for me to tell you how wonderful it is in English but I was impressed deeply by the perfect connection between the background and the performance on the stage.

The art performers, it is said, finished any action seriously. I love this kind of performance very much and will watch again next year.

I love Divine

China was once known as “Shen Zhou” or “Land of the Divine,” because people once believed Chinese culture to be a gift from the heavens. Virtue and piety were emphasized in daily life. Sadly, though, over time much of this great culture has been lost.
I like the performance of Divine Performing Arts because it is reviving the long-lost treasures of China by presenting a series of performances across the globe. The performances combine ancient technique with modern technology. Dozens of talented dancers and musicians with original scores and custom-designed digital backdrops delight the senses, touch the heart, and move the soul.
Divine Performing Arts provides audiences with a living window into China’s glorious past. Its large-scale, vibrant performances include history-based or ethnic dances with Chinese vocal and instrumental performances.
Audiences can step into the ancient Qing Dynasty with the ladies of the Manchurian Court, save the country with General Yue Fei, or go herding on the Mongolian plains while savoring spring’s fresh forsythia blossoms. Select shows are also accompanied by the dulcet, powerful tones of the Divine Performing Arts Orchestra.
Committed to bringing about a renaissance of traditional Chinese culture worldwide, Divine Performing Arts presents each of its pieces with pure integrity and beauty. Each movement of its dancers, note of music, and lush backdrop echoes this sentiment.
The main performance season of Divine Performing Arts begins during the winter with Holiday Wonders and the Chinese New Year Spectacular.
I watched the performance of the Chinese New Year Spectacular at Queen Elizabeth Theater in 2007. It can really present Chinese culture and give me a lot of ideas about Chinese dance.cool

Chinese culture has a five-thousand-year history. It includes many kinds of branches such as believes, costumes, dances, and so on.

Recent years, Chinese culture has been destroyed a lot since the CCP( Chinese communist Party) control the country, especially after the culture revolution. People pursue benefits or money more than moral so when things happen, people usually accuse others instead of themselves and think how things will be good to themselves.

Through showing people Chinese Dance especially Classical Dance with historical stories, I try to return the positive standard to them. In the histories of China, people always obeyed their promises even if it may lead to lose their benefits. Also, they always found their mistakes by themselves when or after things happened, such as fighting.

I know I cannot control the world. The way of thinking is the most difficult to manage. I just want to affect a little bit on people who can still realize that.

Once upon a time, an elephant helped the king to kill person who did something bad. It is proud of its good skills which it can easily killed an offender by one step without thinking. As an executioner, it became fiercer and fiercer.

One day, for prizing the perfect performance on its duty, the king decide to renovate its house. Therefore, it lived outside of a temple temporarily and did not kill any person. Everyday it could see how kindly people were and listened to sound of monks’ reading the Buddhist Scripture. It was found that the elephant was not fierce any more and became quiet everyday.

After renovation, the elephant moved back to its house. One day, the king ordered it to kill an offender again but it hesitated to execute the order and was tearful. After that, it never killed any living beings any more.

When I was a child, people in China kept promise in mind and never did immoral action because they felt morality was more important than benefits or money. Further more, people did not need to lock the door when they left their home because of no thieves at that time.

Nowadays, people always think that money is the most important in our life because we can buy almost anything in the world if we have money such as other’s life( hiring a killer). Sometimes, people with good morality try to balance between money and morality but there are not too many people can jump out of the circle. You have already known it is people that are killing elephants.

What do you think is the most important, money and power or human right and conscience?Elephant

Right or Wrong

People living in the world always have rules in mind to do things which they think they should do that way. However, if the rules have been changed, how should we judge right or wrong?

Here are some example. First is about crossing traffic intersection, one person ran across from one side to another side without pushing button of traffic light because he didn’t want to stop cars running on the road; another person pushed the button while he was finding cars coming because he thought he was right according to the road rules and he likes to watch lots of stopped car waiting for his walking.

I know you may say the second person is right anyway because he obeyed the rule. How do you think next example? According to the rule, people should pay for it if he break things of someone else. Thousands years ago in China, four teenagers played in a place where there are several big jars with full of water. One naughty boy climbed on the top of a jar and then he dropped into it by accident. He couldn’t come out by himself because the jar was smooth inside. Other boys lost their head except one, Sima Guang, he broke the jar with a big stone. Obviously, he saved the boy. The story has been using to teach Chinese children how smart Sima is and how children should think when an emergency happens.

Do you think Sima should pay for the jar or the owner of the jar should ask for money from Sima?

Some times, people are not always right when they do things by rules. That is why rules are often changed. However, if people always care of our society and others, their actions are often right.

Once upon a time, many Chinese people learned how to be a good person from a famous master. The master told them stories and taught them theories about what’s a good person and how a good person should do when (s)he was in a serious situation. Everyone did their best to remember the theories and tried to do things positively.

One day, the master said: “you all have become good persons and will graduate after a final exam. The exam will be held on Xumi mountain at 2:00pm tomorrow, which is 200 kilometers from here. Hope you will be there on time and may you succeed! “

Next day, these people were running toward the exam place, climbing several mountains and passing two rivers. When they were passing a one-way bridge on the second river, a person ask for help in flood: ” Help! Help! I droped down from the bridge and I can’t swim!”

Everybody said:”Sorry! It’s not I don’t want to save you but I don’t have time because I have to catch up with my final exam so that I can be a good person.”

Watching the person in the flood, only one said: “Yes, I do have a most important exam but I can’t leave you in the water. ” After that, he jumped into the flood and saved the person. It was so late that he reached the final exam place after 3:00pm. Looking at the ground, he said:” Sorry master, I’m too late. I…”

The master smiled and looked at him, said: “It’s not late. Only you have passed!”

Please help if you can
